Knole House was the home of Vita Sackville West and was the setting for Virginia Woolf's Orlando, elements of which I've incorporated into my picture, notably the scene from Sally Potter's film where an angel played by Jimmy Somerville appears to Tilda Swinton's Orlando as they sit under a tree.
